The Journey to Peace
In Haven, the Peace journey is a guided multi-day experience that helps you discover God's peace through daily scripture readings, reflections, and journaling prompts. Each day builds on the last, gently leading you toward deeper tranquility.
Inside the Journey
What a day on the Peace journey looks like.
Each day in the Peace journey lasts about ten minutes — a verse to read, a short reflection to consider, and one prompt to write into. There's no pace to fall behind on; you can take a day off, repeat a day, or move ahead. The arc moves from acknowledging where you carry tension, to receiving God's invitation to stillness, to letting that quiet move outward into your relationships.
- Day 1–3: noticing — where peace is missing right now.
- Day 4–6: receiving — letting scripture speak peace into those places.
- Day 7+: practicing — small ways to carry quiet into the day.
- Each session: one verse, one reflection, one prompt — ten quiet minutes.
Common Questions
About the Peace journey.
- How long is the journey?
- The full Peace journey is structured as 21 daily sessions, but you set the pace — daily, every other day, or weekly all work. Most people finish in 3–5 weeks.
- Is this only for Christians?
- No. The verses come from the Bible, but the practice of stillness is universal. Many users from other traditions find the rhythm helpful even if the source text is new to them.
- What if peace doesn't come at the end?
- That's normal. Peace isn't a finish line — it's a posture you keep returning to. Many users repeat the journey months later and notice different things the second time.
- Can I do this journey while on others?
- Yes. You can have multiple journeys active at once. Most people focus on one at a time, but there's no restriction.
- Do I need to journal every day?
- No, journaling is optional. Some days a quiet read is enough. The prompt is there if you want to engage; it isn't a requirement.
